⁹ O Lord, our Lord,
How excellent is Your name in all the earth!

 In this lecture series called, “Excellence in the Dance”, we will learn what excellence is and discuss the importance of excellence in execution, interpretation, dedication, passion in our relationship with God, dance attire and finally, dance leadership. 

Understanding the meaning of excellence is important in knowing how to be excellent in all we do.  Excellence is defined as “the quality or state of being outstanding and superior.” It also means “to be superior in good qualities or praiseworthy actions.”  Excellence is a valuable attribute. It is a character trait that is sought out in this world by most people.  However, the pursuit of excellence is not about competition or outdoing others nor is it about receiving the applause of man. To be excellent is to be your best and to always strive to do your best in both ministry and lifestyle. Your only competitor, if you will, is yourself! In this course, we will help you ramp it up! We will begin with warm up exercises, introduce you to basic ballet positions, show you how to turn without getting dizzy and demonstrate some clever but simple turns. If you're ready, let's GO!
